Five home runs lifted the Northern Marlins to an 11-9 Super League Baseball Adelaide win over Southern Seahawks at West Beach on Wednesday night.
Michael Bishop and Sean Maple each homered twice and Jack Stead also went deep as the Marlins improved to 2-1 and left the Seahawks without a win in three attempts.

Kevin Clark drove in seven runs to help lift ladder-leading Braves to a 17-4 home win over Perth in Sunday’s WA State League 1.
Clark put Braves up 5-0 in the first with a grand slam and added a two-run single in the second after Perth had rallied and drawn within a run in the top of the inning at Winnacott Reserve.

Jordy Grose struck out 10 in seven impressive innings and Liam Bull blasted a go-ahead homer and finished with two RBIs as the Rams secured a 3-1 win at West Lakes Sports & Social Club.

Greater Brisbane League newcomer Pine Rivers Rapids continued their strong start to the season with a sweep of a Sunday doubleheader over Mudgeeraba Redsox.
The Rapids prevailed 10-4 and 13-0 at Firth Park to improve their record to 4-2 after three rounds of their GBL return.

Campbell Twigg’s RBI-single in the eighth lifted Ipswich Musketeers to a walk-off win over Coomera Cubs in the Greater Brisbane League on Friday night.
Twigg delivered to secure a 12-11 win at Tivoli Sporting Complex after the Cubs drew level with three runs in the top of the inning.

Victorian Mitch Ellis tossed a scoreless inning in Surprise Saguaros’ big Arizona Fall League win on Friday morning.
Ellis retired all three batters he faced, on just 11 pitches, as the Saguaros downed South Australian infielder Curtis Mead’s Scottsdale Scorpions 17-2 at Surprise Stadium.

Tyson Noel struck out nine and Maddux Stivey had two RBIs and recorded the final three outs as Swan Districts Swans overcame Carine Cats 3-2 in Thursday night’s WA State League 1 action at Empire Ballpark.
Stivey struck out three of four batters he faced after entering with the bases loaded as the Swans survived to pick up a fourth win in five games to start the new season.

Griffin Weber’s RBI-double capped off a four-run sixth and put the Rays in front for the first time all night as they sealed a 5-4 win at West Beach in a timed game.

The Australian Baseball League will refocus its planning on making the 2022/23 season its biggest yet after deciding to abandon the 2021/22 campaign due to the ongoing challenges presented by the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Baseball Australia chief executive Glenn Williams said the decision was incredibly difficult to make but made with the league’s long-term success and sustainability in mind.

Steven Chambers struck out five in seven shutout innings to lift Surfers to a 5-0 win in game one before they notched a third-straight win with a 5-4 triumph in the second battle.
