Experienced sports executive Paul Gonzalez has been appointed as the Australian Baseball League’s new general manager.

Gonzalez has had a long involvement in Australian baseball – on-and-off the field – and will be tasked with leading the ongoing growth of the ABL.

Former development player Harry Fullerton will return to the Sydney Blue Sox this summer after time in the US college system.

Fullerton, who turns 23 on Sunday, hit .316 across two seasons  with the University of New Mexico after a stint with Odessa College.
