#AYC2022 schedule locked in
A 33-game 2022 Australian U-16 Youth Championship schedule has been locked in.
Each of the seven teams will play at least eight games across the July 4-9 tournament at Redcliffe’s Talobilla Park.

The 2022 Australian Little League Championship will be held at Milton Park in Macquarie Fields, south-west of Sydney.
Baseball Australia today confirmed the 2022 event – which will again feature a second division – will run from June 8-13.

Team Australia to chase U-23 WC spot on home soil
Team Australia will have the chance to punch its ticket to the 2022 WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup in Taiwan on home soil.
It was confirmed this week Australia would take on New Zealand in the WBSC Oceania U-23 World Cup Qualifier at Canberra’s Narrabundah Ballpark from April 22-24.

New ABL general manager revealed
Experienced sports executive Paul Gonzalez has been appointed as the Australian Baseball League’s new general manager.
Gonzalez has had a long involvement in Australian baseball – on-and-off the field – and will be tasked with leading the ongoing growth of the ABL.

New host confirmed for #ASLC2022 in May
Geelong will host May’s 2022 Australian Senior League Championship, marking the first time the tournament has been held in Victoria.
Baseball Australia today announced Geelong Baseball Centre will host the May 13-17 event with the support of the City of Greater Geelong.

Far North Coast Baseball Association has launched a GoFundMe as it sets sights on getting back on the field as soon as possible following last week’s catastrophic flooding.
Lismore – and FNCBA’s Albert Park home of 56 years – were inundated with water as more than 700mm fell in less than 30 hours in the region’s biggest flood event since 1954.

Host locked in for expanded 2022 Australian Women's Baseball Showcase
Geelong will host an expanded Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase in May, bringing together Australian Emeralds stars and some of the country’s top female prospects for an action-packed four-day event.
The May 5-8 showcase at Geelong Baseball Centre will be supported by the Victorian Government through its Significant Sporting Events Program.

Host locked in for Australian U-16 Youth Championship's return
Queensland will defend its 2020 Australian U-16 Youth Championship title on home soil after the host for the event’s return to the calendar was locked in on Thursday.
Redcliffe, north-east of Brisbane, will host the 2022 tournament during the July school holidays in partnership with the Moreton Bay Regional Council.

Baseball Australia makes big call on #ASLC2022
The 2022 Australian Senior League Championship will be shifted from Western Australia due to uncertainty surrounding the state’s border reopening.
Baseball Australia today confirmed it had made the difficult decision to find a new host for the May 13-17 event, which was slated to be held in Mandurah at Lakelands Park.

Baseball Australia has entered into a strategic alliance with Perfect Game with the partnership set to provide greater international playing opportunities for Australian baseballers overseas and at home.
Perfect Game is the world’s largest baseball scouting service and tournament operator and the partnership will provide Australian players access to these tournaments and showcases as well as their leading data analytics and scouting services.
