Pine Rivers Rapids continued their unbeaten start to 2022 and extended their Greater Brisbane League winning streak to 13 games on Thursday night.
Catcher Cain McClelland drove in four runs and starter Josh Roberts went seven innings, allowing just one run, as the Rapids took down Surfers Paradise 15-1 at Beenleigh.

Rhys Niit struck out 14 in six innings and Tyson Zamora and Jaime Fox went deep as Redlands Rays topped Windsor Royals in the first Greater Brisbane League game in almost a fortnight on Tuesday night.
Niit did not allow an earned run in six innings and Justin Erasmus slammed the door shut with three strikeouts in two innings as the ladder-leaders triumphed 8-2 at Holloway Field.

Scott Cronan’s seventh-inning grand slam helped Mudgeeraba stun Carina in a battle of the Greater Brisbane League’s Redsox on Wednesday night.
Cronan went deep with the bases loaded as Mudgeeraba scored a 9-8 win at Firth Park in a rescheduled matchup between the two teams from last month.

Greater Brisbane League leading Redlands Rays extended their winning streak to seven games with a 13-3 victory over Surfers Paradise on Sunday.
The Rays jumped to a 4-0 lead in the first and did not look back at Sir Bruce Small Park, improving their record on the season to 22-6.

Pine Rivers Rapids have replaced Pine Hills Lightning in second spot on the Greater Brisbane League standings after an emphatic win in their Friday night matchup.
The Rapids rode regular offence and strong pitching from Dallas Wakefield to a 14-0 shutout win at James Drysdale Reserve to improve to 19-7 on the season.

The Royals took two-from-two to move above Carina Redsox into fourth spot – at least for now – on the congested GBL standings.

Chris Kacin’s two-run -single completed the thrilling win at Foley Field and put the Redsox into fourth spot.

Natale’s heroics saved the Royals blushes after they allowed the Cubs to come back from a seven-run deficit.

Redlands Rays have tightened the gap at the top of the Greater Brisbane League standings after recording a 6-4 win over Coomera Cubs on Sunday.
The Rays took a 2-0 lead in the first inning and were never headed despite the Cubs threatening to close the gap on several occasions.
