The Arizona Fall League has announced rosters for the 15th Fall Stars Game and – not surprisingly – South Australian Curtis Mead has made the cut.
Mead, 21 last month, was named to the East Fall Stars roster on the back of putting together a 17-game hit streak for Scottsdale Scorpions.

South Australian Curtis Mead’s Arizona Fall League hitting streak sits at 16 after he singled twice in a one-run loss for Scottsdale Scorpions on Tuesday morning.
Mead, 21, finished 2-for-5 with two RBIs in an 11-10 loss to the Mesa Solar Sox at Sloan Park.

South Australian Curtis Mead kept his 21st birthday celebrations rolling on Friday morning, cranking a 413-foot homer in a four-RBI Arizona Fall League performance.
Mead, who turned 21 on Tuesday, finished 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored as Scottsdale Scorpions snapped a seven-game losing streak with an 11-4 win over Mesa Solar Sox at Sloan Park.

Victorian Mitch Ellis tossed a scoreless inning in Surprise Saguaros’ big Arizona Fall League win on Friday morning.
Ellis retired all three batters he faced, on just 11 pitches, as the Saguaros downed South Australian infielder Curtis Mead’s Scottsdale Scorpions 17-2 at Surprise Stadium.

Victorian pitcher Mitch Ellis has been added to Surprise Saguaros’ Arizona Fall League roster.
The 26-year-old Kansas City Royals prospect is one of two Australians to take part in the 2021 edition of the six-team league which features elite young talent, including 17 of MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Prospects, from each of the 30 MLB organisations.

South Australian Curtis Mead’s impressive 2021 Minor League Baseball campaign has seen him rewarded with a spot on an Arizona Fall League roster.
The 20-year-old Tampa Bay Rays prospect will feature for the Scottsdale Scorpions in the six-team league which features elite young talent, including 17 of MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Prospects, from each of the 30 MLB organisations.

Alex Wells collected the win in his first appearance of the 2019 Arizona Fall League as Surprise topped Salt River 4-1 at Peoria Stadium earlier today.
The left-hander replaced starter Dean Kremer to start the third and was able to strike out the side.

New South Welshman Alex Wells is amongst five players Baltimore has chosen to send to the Arizona Fall League.
The 22-year-old left-hander will suit up for the Surprise Saguaros from September 18 in the six-team league which features elite young players from every MLB organisation.
