Stagg's homer lifts Eagles to game one win

Max Stagg’s two-run, walk-off homer lifted West Torrens Eagles past Goodwood Indians in game one of their South Australian State League semi-final series on Saturday.

Stagg crushed a long ball to left field after Tom McGarry started the bottom of the ninth with a single as the Eagles triumphed 11-9 at Lockleys Oval in the opener of the best-of-three series.

WA reveals roster for April's #AWBC2022

Eight members of Western Australia’s silver medal run at the last Australian Women’s Baseball Championship have been named to the state’s 2022 roster.

Kelsey Brennan, Kaila Borgomastro, Megan Everitt, Caitlin Eynon, Meaghan Haggart, Joneen Houghton, Yuki Ishikawa and Grace Spano will all head to Adelaide for the April 15-21 tournament with sights on helping WA go one better.

Junior Camp host locked in, six players added

Baseball Australia has locked in the location for next month’s National Junior Camp and added six players to the list of invitees.

The Australian Institute of Sport and Narrabundah Ballpark in Canberra will host the April 16-24 camp, which is a key step in Team Australia’s preparations for September’s WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup in the US.

Roster announced for NT's return to national stage

Northern Territory’s roster for its return to Little League’s national stage has been revealed.

Baseball NT on Wednesday released a 14-player roster to take part in the 2022 Australian Little League Division II Championship later in the year.

Eagles advance to WASL1 grand final

Morley Eagles will have the chance to defend their WA State League 1 crown after advancing to the 2022 grand final series on Thursday night.

The Eagles piled on four runs in the top of the eighth and survived a late rally from South Perth Cubs to wrap up a 4-3 win and complete a 2-0 semi-final series victory at Empire Ballpark.

Giants strike first against Braves in WASL1

Wanneroo Giants took the opening game of their best-of-three WA State League 1 semi-final against Braves on Wednesday night.

The Giants scored the opening eight runs of the contest at Empire Ballpark to secure an 8-2 win and move a step closer to the grand final.

Eagles blank Workers in midweek NSWSBL action

Shohei Arayama and Taka Honma combined to lift Manly Eagles to a shutout win over Blacktown Workers in Wednesday night’s New South Wales State Baseball League action.

Arayama struck out nine in six scoreless innings and Honma recorded the final six outs as the Eagles secured their seventh win of the season with a 1-0 victory at Aquatic Reserve.

New South Wales announce #AWBC2022 roster

New South Wales has announced its roster for next month’s 2022 Australian Women’s Baseball Championship in Adelaide.

The six-time champions will have eight returning players from their 2019 fourth-place finish in Canberra.

Eagles soar past Cubs in WASL1 semi-final opener

An eight-run fourth propelled Morley Eagles to within a win of the 2022 WA State League 1 grand final on Tuesday night.

The defending champions overturned an early deficit with the big inning on their way to an 11-1 win over South Perth Cubs in game one of their semi-final series at Empire Ballpark.

Bombers blank Baycats to take 1-0 lead in VSBL semi

Essendon Bombers are a win away from the Victorian Summer Baseball League grand final series after blanking Geelong Baycats in the opening game of their semi-final on Tuesday night.

Starter Sam Street struck out seven and allowed just three hits in eight scoreless innings to lead the Bombers to a 10-0 at Melbourne Ballpark.

Tigers surge late, take VSBL semi-final opener

Upwey-Ferntree Gully Tigers scored five times in the eighth to overcome Waverley Wildcats 7-3 in the opening game of their best-of-three Victorian Summer Baseball League semi-final series on Tuesday night.

Jordan Elliott’s RBI-double put the Tigers on top and they added three more runs ahead of Donavon Hendricks closing the door in the top of the ninth to seal a game one win at Robert Booth Reserve.
