Pine Hills enters the Greater Brisbane League mid-season break four-and-a-half games clear of its next rival after picking up three wins over the weekend.
The Lightning downed Redlands 6-2 on Friday night and collected a pair of wins over Surfers Paradise, including one in a suspended game from last month, to improve to 20-5 on the season.

David Holmberg tossed 6 2/3 scoreless innings to lift Adelaide to a series lead – and level for best record in the ABL – against Perth at Perth Harley-Davidson Ballpark on Saturday night.
Holmberg allowed just three hits and struck out seven as the Giants rode early runs to a 3-0 win to complete a sweep of their Saturday doubleheader.

Two-time KBO League champions Lotte Giants will head to Adelaide for a month-long training camp ahead of their 2020 season.
