Workers took down Rouse Hill 25-0 at Laybutt Reserve and the Giants defeated Ryde 13-1 at ELS Hall Park on Saturday to improve to 2-0.

Workers trailed Penrith 8-0 heading into the bottom of the seventh ahead of scoring 10 unanswered runs to complete a thrilling victory at Laybutt Reserve.

Right-handed pitcher Sam Holland will be part of Brisbane’s quest for a five-peat of Australian Baseball League crowns after signing on for the 2019/20 season.
Holland, 25, will front for a sixth season with the Bandits boasting a career ERA of 4.04 in 66 ABL regular-season games.

Alex Wells collected the win in his first appearance of the 2019 Arizona Fall League as Surprise topped Salt River 4-1 at Peoria Stadium earlier today.
The left-hander replaced starter Dean Kremer to start the third and was able to strike out the side.

The Adelaide Giants have landed one of Australian baseball’s most exciting 19-year-old talents with infielder Rixon Wingrove set to join the club for the 2019/20 Australian Baseball League season.
Wingrove recently wrapped up an impressive second US season with Philadelphia which saw him named in the Gulf Coast League All-Star Team.
