West Australian Josh Hendrickson punched out eight on Wednesday morning to set a new personal high for strikeouts in a Minor League game.
Hendrickson allowed just one run on four hits as he collected a fourth win of the season as Reading Fightin Phils took the opening game of their series against the Portland Sea Dogs 7-3 at Hadlock Field.

New South Welshman Rixon Wingrove blasted two homers but it was not enough for Clearwater to claim victory in its Minor League series final against Dunedin on Monday morning.
Wingrove went deep with a two-run shot in the bottom of the third and again in the eighth as the Threshers fell 9-7 at BayCare Ballpark.

West Australian Josh Hendrickson collected the win for Reading in the longest outing of his Minor League career on Thursday morning.
Hendrickson gave up a first-inning solo homer but did not surrender another run in his six-inning start, helping the Fightin Phils to an 8-6 win over Binghamton at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The 19-year-old Philadelphia prospect has made 27 ABL appearances, including 20 last season as the Aces won their first title in the relaunched league.

Australian Philadelphia prospect Josh Gessner has signed with Sydney ahead of the 2020/21 Australian Baseball League season.
The 20-year-old right-handed pitcher, who signed with the Phillies in June 2019, last appeared for the Blue Sox during the 2017/18 season.

New Zealander Kyle Glogoski will pitch for a third ABL club this season after signing with Adelaide.
The 21-year-old Philadelphia prospect spent the past two seasons with Auckland and previously played for Sydney.

The Adelaide Giants have landed one of Australian baseball’s most exciting 19-year-old talents with infielder Rixon Wingrove set to join the club for the 2019/20 Australian Baseball League season.
Wingrove recently wrapped up an impressive second US season with Philadelphia which saw him named in the Gulf Coast League All-Star Team.
