Starting pitcher Josh Guyer is set to link up with the Sydney Blue Sox for a ninth Australian Baseball League season in 2021/22.
The Blue Sox on Friday announced right-hander Guyer had re-signed and would add to his 67 ABL games for the club.

No Manny, no worries. Sydney sent a statement to the rest of the Australian Baseball League on Thursday night, downing defending champions Melbourne in emphatic fashion at Blacktown International Sportspark.
The Blue Sox shrugged off losing their marquee man for Opening Weekend earlier in the day, and a couple of early runs to the Aces, to triumph 12-6.

Yurisbel Gracial’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th propelled Cuba to a 3-2 victory in the Group C clash.

Boral Team Australia will be after its first Premier12 win when it faces Cuba in Group C action at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome today.
First pitch is scheduled for 12pm local time with all the action to be shown into Australia on Fox Sports 503 or Kayo Sports from 2pm AEDT (1.30pm ACDT, 1 AEST, 11am AWST).

Boral Team Australia was mobbed by more than 300 Japanese school students at a coaching clinic on day two of the team’s Premier12 training camp in Fuchu.
Australia’s 28-man squad and coaching staff spent the morning with the 10-12 year olds, providing tips, trading secrets, taking selfies and signing plenty of autographs.

The Orioles prevailed 1-0 at Gilchrist Oval, after downing Workers 8-1 last Wednesday night, to improve their record to 4-2 after five rounds.

Blacktown pulled off a wild comeback win to improve its record to 2-0 in the NSW State Baseball League on Sunday afternoon.
Workers trailed Penrith 8-0 heading into the bottom of the seventh ahead of scoring 10 unanswered runs to complete a thrilling victory at Laybutt Reserve.

Sydney starter Josh Guyer has signed on with the Blue Sox for the 2019/20 Australian Baseball League season.
The 25-year-old led the league with seven wins – joint with Brisbane’s Tim Atherton and Canberra lefty Steve Kent – last summer.
