Team Australia will have the chance to punch its ticket to the 2022 WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup in Taiwan on home soil.
It was confirmed this week Australia would take on New Zealand in the WBSC Oceania U-23 World Cup Qualifier at Canberra’s Narrabundah Ballpark from April 22-24.

Baseball Australia today released a list of 37 athletes who will take part in the April 16-20 invitational at West Beach.

Blacktown Workers are through to a New South Wales Baseball League preliminary final and still a shot to defend their 2021 title after ending Cronulla Sharks’ season on Saturday.
Workers took the lead with a two-run fifth and did not look back behind strong relief pitching from Dylan Clarke and Todd Grattan as they sealed a 4-3 win at Blacktown International Sportspark.

A nine-run sixth and Mitch Neunborn gem lifted the Eagles to an 11-1 victory in the series-opener and put them in a position to wrap up the title on Saturday night.
