South Australian Curtis Mead will spend at least the next five Australian Baseball League seasons with Adelaide after signing a record-setting contract with the Giants.
The 19-year-old infielder’s five-year deal is the longest in the ABL’s history and signals Adelaide’s intent to keep its young core together as it looks to build on its appearance in the 2020 Championship Series.
