The Eagles bounced back from a series-opening loss, riding a fast start to an 8-4 win over Wanneroo Giants at Empire Ballpark.

The Orioles jumped out to a 2-0 lead at Blacktown International Sportspark’s second diamond and withstood a late rally from the minor premiers to take a 1-0 lead in their best-of-three major semi-final.
