The 2021 Australian Senior League Championship in Lismore will open next year’s national Little League circuit.
Baseball Australia today announced Lismore’s Albert Park Baseball Complex will host the event from May 8-12 next year.

Brisbane has re-signed Boral Team Australia utility Mitch Nilsson ahead of the 2020/21 Australian Baseball League season.
Nilsson, 29, will front up for an 11th season with the Bandits after being part of their roster in year one of the relaunched league.

Australian Philadelphia prospect Josh Gessner has signed with Sydney ahead of the 2020/21 Australian Baseball League season.
The 20-year-old right-handed pitcher, who signed with the Phillies in June 2019, last appeared for the Blue Sox during the 2017/18 season.

Liam Hendriks closed out a 4-2 win for Oakland in game one of its doubleheader against Houston, pushing the A’s lead atop to the American League West to 5 1/2 games.
The West Australian struck out two and allowed one base hit in a scoreless seventh – the last regulation inning under MLB’s doubleheader rules for 2020 – as Oakland played as the visiting team at its Oakland Coliseum home.
