Goodwood Indians secured their passage to the 2022 South Australian State League grand final on Sunday after taking down minor premiers Sturt Saints in game three of their preliminary final series.
Stefan Welch homered twice and finished with five RBIs and veteran John Challinor went eight innings as the Indians completed a 10-4 win at Norman Reserve to keep alive their premiership hopes.

Wanneroo Giants were crowned 2021/22 WA State League 1 champions on Saturday night after overcoming Morley Eagles in the deciding game of their best-of-three grand final series.
The Giants broke a tie with a four-run eighth and held on for a 6-4 win at Empire Ballpark following a ninth-inning rally from the Eagles.
