Morley’s WA State League 1 semi-final series against Braves is headed to a deciding third game after the Eagles secured a 6-5 win at Empire Ballpark on Thursday night.
Brendan Sing struck out five across a 150-pitch complete game and Morley was able to hang on to an early lead to level the series despite a late charge from Braves.

The historic Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase will take place in early April with games to be played in Adelaide and Brisbane.
It comes after Baseball Australia cancelled the 2021 Australian Women’s Baseball Championship set for Adelaide following a number of states confirming they would not be sending a team due to COVID concerns.

Jack Rigden’s four-hit night helped Braves secure a game one win in their best-of-three WA State League 1 semi-final against Morley at Empire Ballpark on Tuesday night.
Ridgen went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and scored three runs at the top of the lineup as the Braves collected a 12-7 win behind a hot start.

Three players have been added to next month’s National Junior Camp in Canberra.
