Morley is through to the WA State League 1 grand final and will face Wanneroo after overcoming Braves in game three of their semi-final series at Empire Ballpark on Saturday night.
The Eagles scored two runs in the top of the 10th and Brendan Sing closed out the win in the bottom of the inning to seal a 5-3 win.

Early runs and strong pitching led Wanneroo past Gosnells and into the WA State League 1 grand final on Friday night.
The Giants scored four runs in the first and rode strong pitching from Tom Bailey, Chris King and Jackson Riley to a 9-2 win in game three of their semi-final series at Empire Ballpark.

West Australian infielder Tyrell Stewart has committed to Otero Junior College.
The Morley Baseball Club 17-year-old, who arrived at the Eagles via Port Hedland, will join the NJCAA division one school next August.

Morley’s WA State League 1 semi-final series against Braves is headed to a deciding third game after the Eagles secured a 6-5 win at Empire Ballpark on Thursday night.
Brendan Sing struck out five across a 150-pitch complete game and Morley was able to hang on to an early lead to level the series despite a late charge from Braves.

Gosnells sent its WA State League 1 semi-final series against minor premiers Wanneroo to a deciding third game with a 4-3 win at Empire Ballpark on Wednesday night.
Adam Millson’s complete game and a three-run seventh sent the best-of-three series to a deciding game on Friday night.

The historic Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase will take place in early April with games to be played in Adelaide and Brisbane.
It comes after Baseball Australia cancelled the 2021 Australian Women’s Baseball Championship set for Adelaide following a number of states confirming they would not be sending a team due to COVID concerns.

Jack Rigden’s four-hit night helped Braves secure a game one win in their best-of-three WA State League 1 semi-final against Morley at Empire Ballpark on Tuesday night.
Ridgen went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and scored three runs at the top of the lineup as the Braves collected a 12-7 win behind a hot start.

Three players have been added to next month’s National Junior Camp in Canberra.
New South Wales outfielder Zac Newbold, South Australian infielder Max Stagg and West Australian pitcher Connor Chehab have been invited to the camp at the Australian Institute of Sport from April 3-11 as part of Boral Team Australia’s preparations for this year’s WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup scheduled for Florida.

The Saints took down the Cardinals 7-3 in game two of their semi-final at Norman Reserve on Sunday to end the defending champion’s season while the Rams used late runs to overcome the Redsox 8-3 at home.
