A six-run fourth inning and strong pitching propelled the Northern Marlins to victory on opening night of the 2020 Super League Baseball Adelaide season.
The Marlins scored the opening seven runs of the game and withstood a late comeback bid from the Western Rays to prevail 7-3 at West Beach on Wednesday night.

Young Australian catcher Chris Burke has re-signed for a fourth ABL season with Melbourne.
The 19-year-old Philadelphia prospect has made 27 ABL appearances, including 20 last season as the Aces won their first title in the relaunched league.

The 2021 Australian Intermediate League Championship will be held in Mildura next May.
Baseball Australia today announced the event, which is proudly supported by the Victorian Government, will return to Mildura for a second time from May 25 to 29 after being cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Justin Erasmus has re-signed with Brisbane for the upcoming Australian Baseball League season as he closes in on Matt Williams’ record for most pitching appearances in the relaunched league.
Erasmus enters the 2020/21 season two appearances shy of equalling the former Sydney and Adelaide pitcher’s record 139 games.

Koalas have been crowned the first-ever Baseball Canberra Super League champions after walking off the Dingoes in a thrilling final on Saturday.
Taylor Jockers’ single to left field was deep enough for Lawson Trudgett to score on the throw as the Koalas prevailed 12-11 at Narrabundah.

West Australian Liam Hendriks recorded the final five outs for his Major League-leading 13th save of the year as Oakland improved to 31-19 this morning.

The 2021 Australian Senior League Championship in Lismore will open next year’s national Little League circuit.
Baseball Australia today announced Lismore’s Albert Park Baseball Complex will host the event from May 8-12 next year.
