Adelaide and Brisbane’s rosters have been finalised ahead of this weekend’s historic Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase presented VALO.
The Giants will have 17 players available and the Bandits 16 across the two doubleheaders, which will feature five-inning games, at West Beach in Adelaide’s beachside suburbs.

Robina Braves will launch a 12-week Baseball5 competition next month after starting a three-week come-and-try program for the new discipline of the sport last week.
They hope to have six teams in each of an under-12 and under-18 division for the inaugural season, which will start on May 11 and culminate in a finals series.

West Australian Liam Hendriks worked a scoreless inning in each game of the Chicago White Sox doubleheader sweep of Boston on Monday morning.
The closer picked up his second save of the season in a 3-2 game one victory at Fenway Park and returned hours later to slam the door shut in the second game as the White Sox claimed a doubleheader sweep over the Red Sox for the first time since September 2010.

Southern Mariners held off fast-finishing Twins to claim gold at the 2021 Victorian Little League Major State Championships on Sunday.
The Mariners entered the bottom of the sixth up by five runs but Twins rallied, scoring four runs before falling 8-7 at Werribee.

Cronulla capped off an undefeated 2021 NSW Little League State Championships with a 4-2 win over Ryde Red in the final at Peter Van Hasselt Park on Sunday.
The shire team took a 3-0 lead in the top of the fifth ahead of denying a late rally to finish the tournament with a 5-0 record.
