South Australian Ky Hampton tossed Eastern Illinois University’s first complete game shutout since 2013 on Saturday morning.
Hampton recorded a career-high eight strikeouts to lead the Panthers to a 7-0 win over UT Martin in the first game of a doubleheader at Coaches Stadium.
