The charter became the second Queensland charter to punch their World Series ticket after downing Hills 9-3 in the 2022 Australian Little League Championship gold medal game in Macarthur on Monday afternoon.

Shimakura faced the minimum through five innings, striking out 12 batters, as the Victorian side secured ninth-place with the victory on diamond five.

Jackson Burton tossed a no-hitter as Southern Mariners claimed a 10-0 consolation game victory over Carine Cats at the 2022 Australian Little League Championship in Macarthur on Sunday.
Burton struck out eight batters in his no-no and was backed by an eight-run fourth inning as the Mariners collected their fourth win in Macarthur and set up a shot at fifth on Monday.
