Adelaide’s offence stayed hot to make it back-to-back wins over Brisbane in the Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase presented by VALO at West Beach on Sunday morning.
The Giants scored six runs in the first and 10 in the second to break the contest open before going on to win 22-5 in game three.

Adelaide has hit back to claim game two of Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase presented by VALO on Saturday night, using a late burst to down Brisbane in a back-and-forth contest at West Beach.
The Giants took the lead early but lost it twice before scoring seven times in the bottom of the third to secure a 14-9 at Bennett Field.

Abbey McLellan and Laura Wagner homered as Brisbane rode a 12-run second inning to victory in game one of the Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase presented by VALO on Saturday night.
The Bandits used the big inning to secure a 15-9 win over Adelaide behind strong pitching from Laura Neads at West Beach’s Bennett Field.

A professional women’s baseball league in Australia will take another huge step forward in Adelaide on Saturday.
Adelaide will host Brisbane in the Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase presented by VALO, putting the best female players up against each other in an appetiser to the launch of a professional league.

Victorian-based Momsen was recently appointed to the role of general manager of customer brands for the Reece Group, having previously served as chief marketing officer at Basketball Australia from 2019-2021.

Baseball Australia today announced Sports Management Australia, a leading sports management company based in Sydney Olympic Park and Southeast Asia, would take over the Blue Sox licence for the 2021/22 Australian Baseball League season and beyond.

Adelaide and Brisbane’s rosters have been finalised ahead of this weekend’s historic Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase presented VALO.
The Giants will have 17 players available and the Bandits 16 across the two doubleheaders, which will feature five-inning games, at West Beach in Adelaide’s beachside suburbs.

Sydney Blue Sox owner Adam Dobb will not be extending his licence of the Australian Baseball League club.
“I have been weighing up whether continuing for the forthcoming season was a viable option from a business perspective,” Dobb said.

Robina Braves will launch a 12-week Baseball5 competition next month after starting a three-week come-and-try program for the new discipline of the sport last week.
They hope to have six teams in each of an under-12 and under-18 division for the inaugural season, which will start on May 11 and culminate in a finals series.
