Brisbane Metro kept alive its hopes of finishing as high as fifth at the 2021 Australian Little League Championship in Lismore after recording a consolation game win over Central Coast Marlins on Saturday.
Metro will play the loser of qualifying final two between Gold Coast Cougars and Wanneroo Giants on Sunday for a spot in the fifth-place playoff after scoring a hard-fought 6-5 win over the Marlins on diamond two.
