Australia and Curaçao battled in an entertaining contest at the Little League World Series, but the Carribean nation edged out the Sydney-side 2-1.
It certainly is a grand stage for this U13 event and a heck of an experience for Australia, represented by NSW charter Hills.

Ayden Hamilton drove in three runs and Hunter Lennox had a trio of hits as Hills won a high-scoring contest 20-10 over Carine Cats at the 2022 Australian Little League Championship on Thursday morning.
Hamilton was one of four players with a multi-RBI game as Hills claimed their first win of the championship with a win on diamond two.

They scored the final three runs of the game to secure a 6-3 win over a gallant Manly on diamond 3C in a battle of the top two teams entering day four.

The Marlins and Rays will clash in a live-streamed South Australian showdown from 9am ahead of the Cougars taking on the Giants in the second qualifying final from 1pm.

The New South Wales charter scored 10 runs in the fourth to claim an 11-10 win over Central Firebirds in a time-limit ended games on diamond 3C.
