Brisbane has named 22 players as part of its new high performance futures squad.
The squad, which features Queensland prospects looking to earn a spot on the Bandits’ roster, will face Brisbane in 12 games over the eight-week lead up to the start of the ABL season.

Jack Waters struck out 19 and took a no-hitter into the seventh as Coomera opened the Greater Brisbane League season with a 6-0 shutout win over Ipswich at Beenleigh on Friday night.
The 18-year-old worked eight innings, allowing two hits and two walks in an impressive 109 pitch outing to open the season.

Queensland’s Jack Waters has committed to Division I college Grand Canyon University.
The 17-year-old pitcher, who plays for the Gold Coast’s Coomera Cubs, will link up with the Antelopes in the US fall of 2021.
