Damek Tomscha blasted his fifth homer of the season to pull Melbourne level in the ninth and the defending champions went on to win 4-3 against Canberra in 10 innings at MIT Ballpark on Friday night.

Tomscha’s three-run homer with none out in the top of ninth helped the Aces force extras and they added a run in the 10th ahead of Drew Anderson closing out the comeback with with his second scoreless inning.
