Windsor rode a solid start from Zac Treece and late runs to a no-hit victory over Narangba in the Greater Brisbane League on Wednesday night.
Treece picked up the win after punching out five in five innings, giving up two unearned runs, before the Royals’ offence clicked into gear late to secure an 8-2 win on the road.

The game was called in the sixth inning due to rain but that was still enough time for Bollinger to strike out eleven Blue Sox including seven consecutive hitters through the middle innings

Maddux Stivey was named the U18 Most Valuable Player and Zac Newbold picked up the U16 honour at the 2020 Australian Youth Championship.
Stivey, who was part of Western Australia’s gold medal winning U18 outfit, was named MVP following yesterday’s decider after putting together an impressive tournament with bat and ball.

Western Australia has topped Queensland 11-9 in extra innings in the 2020 U18 Australian Youth Championship gold medal game at Geelong Baseball Centre on Wednesday night.
WA overturned a five-run deficit to take the lead before needing an extra inning to claim its first U18 title since 2017 in a thrilling contest on diamond one.

South Australia rode a strong offensive performance and eight strikeouts from Riley Yeatman to bronze at the 2020 U16 Australian Youth Championship in Geelong on Wednesday.
SA jumped out to a first-inning lead and denied a late Western Australia rally to win 5-3 and claim the state’s first U16 medal since 2016.

Queensland has claimed its first U16 Australian Youth Championship since 2011 after defeating previously unbeaten New South Wales in the 2020 gold medal game on Wednesday.
Runs in the second, third and fourth provided a solid platform ahead of a five-run fifth sealing an 8-0 win on diamond two at Geelong Baseball Centre.

The 2020 Australian Youth Championship U16 bronze and gold medal games will start at 4pm after air quality in Geelong improved to an acceptable reading.
The U16 gold medal game between New South Wales and Queensland has been moved to diamond two and will start at 4pm. It will be reduced to five innings and no longer be broadcast.

South Australia has claimed U18 bronze after its 2020 Australian Youth Championship clash against Victoria Blue was called off early due to poor air quality in Geelong on Wednesday.
The game was suspended and then called off with SA leading 10-9 on diamond one.

Three runs in the second and third helped overturn an early one-run deficit and propel Vic White to a 7-3 win over the Australian Capital Territory on diamond four.

Country New South Wales has claimed a fifth-place finish at the 2020 U16 Australian Youth Championship after holding off Victoria Blue on Wednesday morning.
A two-run first inning gave Country an early lead and strong pitching ensured it was enough, sealing a 3-2 win on diamond four at Geelong Baseball Centre.

Queensland has a shot to claim a sweep of the U16 and U18 titles when the 2020 Australian Youth Championship wraps up today in Geelong.
They will face Western Australia in the U18 gold medal game from 4.30pm and undefeated New South Wales in the U16 decider from 1pm.
