Southern Mariners picked up their first win of the 2021 Australian Junior League Championship at West Beach on Sunday after edging Canberra.
The Mariners scored runs in the first three innings and withstood a late Canberra rally on diamond one to record a 7-4 win after falling to Wanneroo earlier in the day.

Otto Moje drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth and Genevieve Beacom shut the door as the Mariners sealed an 8-7 win in the gold medal game at Albert Park Baseball Complex.
