New South Welshman Brad Griffin has committed to defending Division II junior college champions LSU Eunice.
The 18-year-old infielder will link up with the Bengals, who have won seven national championships since 2006.

New South Welshman Jake Burns crushed his first professional homer to help the Cardinals to a 10-8 Florida Complex League win over the Nationals on Tuesday morning.
Burns blasted a two-run shot in the top of the first at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches to ignite a 16-hit outing for the Cardinals.

New South Welshman Jake Burns has become the latest member of Team Australia’s 2019 WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup campaign to sign with a MLB organisation.
The 16-year-old catcher overnight put pen to paper with St. Louis in the US and will report to spring training with the Cardinals in 2020.
