Sydney has swooped on 12-time Major League Baseball All-Star Manny Ramirez, signing the 48-year-old to a one-year Australian Baseball League deal.
MLB Network’s Jon Heyman tweeted this morning the two-time World Series champion, who was recently linked to Auckland, would join the Blue Sox for the upcoming Australian Baseball League season.

New Zealand’s 1 News is reporting two-time World Series champion Manny Ramirez will play for Auckland in the 2020/21 Australian Baseball League season.
Ramirez, 48, is a 12-time All-Star and was named MVP in Boston’s 2004 World Series title.
