A 19-player Team Australia roster has been locked in to face the Brisbane Bandits in a three-game series at Viticon Stadium this weekend.
Experienced duo Robbie Perkins and Luke Wilkins along with 2021 Australian Baseball League joint Rookie of the year Mitch Neunborn will don the green and gold, joining a long list of rising young prospects.

Adelaide used the long ball to bounce back to winning ways against Brisbane at Viticon Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Kendall Simmons, Mitch Edwards and Rixon Wingrove homered to lift the Giants to a 4-2 win over the Bandits just hours after falling 12-2 to Perth.

Adelaide manager Chris Adamson is confident the Giants have the talent – and experience from last season – to go one better after falling to Melbourne in the 2020 Australian Baseball League Championship Series.
Adamson’s troops fell to the Aces in two games to remain without a championship in the relaunched ABL and will get their 2020/21 campaign underway against Brisbane in a hub at Viticon Stadium on Tuesday.

Adelaide’s roster for Opening Day in Brisbane tomorrow includes new recruits Mitch Neunborn, Todd van Steensel and Luke Wilkins as well as a possible 16-year-old debutant.
The Giants have included 16-year-old East Torrens pitcher Riley Yeatman on their 24-man roster for the first half of the hub at Viticon Stadium, while 19-year-old outfielder Brodie Arriola has been named and could play at ABL level for the first time since January 2018.

Adelaide has added a second Boral Team Australia pitcher with Luke Wilkins set to join the Giants for the upcoming Australian Baseball League season after nine years with Sydney.
The signing of Wilkins comes just days after Adelaide unveiled his Blue Sox teammate and national team reliever Todd van Steensel as its first prized recruit of the ABL offseason.
