Hendriks named AL Reliever of the Year
West Australian Liam Hendriks has been named the 2020 Mariano Rivera American League Reliever of the Year.
Oakland’s closer posted a 1.78 ERA across 24 appearances during the 2020 regular-season and also delivered three scoreless innings in the Athletics’ 9-7 victory over Houston in game three of the AL Division Series to keep their season alive.
