Southern Mariners will face Macarthur in the 2021 Australian Senior League Championship gold medal game after topping Eastern Athletics in extra innings on Tuesday night.
The Mariners scored five runs in the top of the eighth and Lachlan Smith closed the door to lift them to a 6-1 win on diamond one in the second semi-final.

Eastern Athletics locked in its spot in the Pool A top-two with a hard-fought win over Wanneroo at the 2021 Australian Senior League Championship in Lismore on Sunday.
The Athletics downed the Giants 9-7 on diamond two to ensure they and Macarthur cannot be overtaken in the Pool A standings on day three and will feature in a semi-final on Tuesday.
