Christopher Fergie’s single in the top of the sixth plated the go-ahead run and Jesse Toon closed the door as Macarthur completed a 6-3 win on diamond one in the first semi-final.

Eastern Athletics locked in its spot in the Pool A top-two with a hard-fought win over Wanneroo at the 2021 Australian Senior League Championship in Lismore on Sunday.
The Athletics downed the Giants 9-7 on diamond two to ensure they and Macarthur cannot be overtaken in the Pool A standings on day three and will feature in a semi-final on Tuesday.
