Jackson Burton tossed a no-hitter as Southern Mariners claimed a 10-0 consolation game victory over Carine Cats at the 2022 Australian Little League Championship in Macarthur on Sunday.
Burton struck out eight batters in his no-no and was backed by an eight-run fourth inning as the Mariners collected their fourth win in Macarthur and set up a shot at fifth on Monday.

The Mariners pair was a combined 8-for-8 at the plate, scoring seven runs and driving in 10 as Southern overcame a slow start to defeat the Seahawks and claim their third win in Macarthur.

Luke Hobbs, Cooper Smith and Isaac Cusbert combined to allow just one run and Hills scored four runs in the first inning to provide all the run support required.
