Brisbane Metro overturned an early five-run deficit to overcome Central Firebirds and collect its first win of the 2021 Australian Junior League Championship at West Beach on Monday.
Metro scored seven runs in the third to take the lead and went on to win 17-5 on diamond one.

Nati went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in and Simon Slapeta and Jonah Chitty each drove in two runs as the Hawks prevailed 12-2 in five innings on diamond two.

The Giants plated the winning run on an error to prevail 9-8 on diamond one after the Mariners scored six runs in the top of the seventh to take the lead.

Hards homered in a five-run second and it proved more than enough run support for Owen Capes, Kristian Haeusler and Tom Hewett in a 9-0 win on diamond one.

South Australian Curtis Mead mashed his first homer of the season and matched his Minor League career-high with a four-hit performance on Saturday.
Mead went deep with a solo shot in the first to put Charleston up early but they were unable to go on with it, falling to Columbia 9-4 at Segra Park.
