Wanneroo Giants claimed their second win at the 2022 Australian Intermediate League Championship on Monday after shutting out Southern Mariners 12-0 on diamond one.
Riley Lines and Quinn Fatai combined to blank the Mariners, allowing just one hit while striking out as Wanneroo improved to 2-0 in Mildura.

Wanneroo Giants held off an Adelaide Armada fightback to claim a 6-3 win on the opening day of the 2022 Australian Intermediate League Championship in Mildura on Sunday.
The Giants led 6-0 in the fourth but faced some nervous moments as the Armada threatened a comeback late in the contest on diamond two.

An eight-run seventh inning has lifted Southern Mariners to a wild 15-8 win over Hills on the opening day of 2022 Australian Intermediate League Championship in Mildura.
The Mariners scored eight to break a tie and pull away to record a win in their opening game on diamond two.

Ryde Hawks have made a winning start to the 2022 Australian Intermediate League Championship, defeating Eastern Phantoms 8-4 in Mildura on Sunday.
The Hawks overcame an early three-run deficit, before holding their advantage thanks to a strong performance from their bullpen on diamond one.

Lucas Williams, Kimi Soong and William Hooper combined to allow just one unearned run across 5 1/3 innings of relief work.
The trio also struck out six batters while allowing just two hits.
Soong accounted for five of the strikeouts in three one-hit innings.
The Phantoms made a fast start, scoring three runs in the second to take an early lead.
Ryde answered in the second with a run, before scoring three in the third to take the lead.
The Hawks then pulled away with three runs in the fifth to seal the contest.
Cash Robinson drove in three runs for Ryde, while Lucas Williams and Riley Coyle each had two RBIs.

Eastern Phantoms will look to bounce back when they take on Twins on diamond two on Monday at 10.15am.
Ryde will look to improve to 2-0 when they take on Brisbane Metro from 1.15pm.
The Australian Intermediate League Championship is supported by the Victorian Government’s Significant Sporting Events Program.
Mildura Rural City Council are also a major partner of the event.

The 2022 Australian Intermediate League Championship gets underway in Mildura on Sunday with four games on the schedule.
Western Australia’s Eastern Phantoms will take on New South Wales charter Ryde Hawks from 9.30am to get the action underway in the first of 10 games to be shown on Kayo Freebies across the five-day event.

Manly has claimed bronze at the 2022 Australian Senior League Championship in Geelong after coming from behind to defeat Gold Coast Cougars 5-4 in extra innings.
Down to their last out, Manly rallied for a pair of runs in the seventh inning to tie the contest, before a Luke Donaghey sacrifice fly gave them the lead in extras.

Adelaide Armada has finished its 2022 Australian Senior League Championship campaign on a high, defeating Carine Cats 8-3 on diamond two at Geelong Baseball Centre.
Ben Ganley was the star for the Armada, getting it done at the plate and on the mound as Adelaide claimed seventh-place in Geelong.
