Essendon wrapped up the Victorian Summer Baseball League premiership on Saturday after taking down Waverley 9-6 in game two of the grand final series.
Jake Giles drove in three runs while Michael Formisano and Shoma Ikehata each collected two RBIs as the Bombers wrapped up the best-of-three series at Melbourne Ballpark with a game to spare.

Essendon rode early runs to a game one win in the Victorian Summer Baseball League grand final against Waverley on Tuesday night.
The Bombers prevailed 6-4 at Melbourne Ballpark after scoring all their runs in the opening three innings.
