Baseball5 will join the Sporting Schools program from term one next year in a major boost for baseball’s growth in Australia.
The new five-on-five, five-inning, street version of baseball and softball will run alongside Aussie T-Ball in primary schools and also be available to secondary schools.

A professional women’s baseball league in Australia is a step closer to launching with Baseball Australia today confirming four organisations have been granted provisional licences for the inaugural season.
The Adelaide Giants, Baseball Victoria, Brisbane Bandits and Canberra Cavalry will field teams in the league’s inaugural season after being granted licences following an exhaustive process over the past few months requiring detailed submissions from each prospective team.
