Whitefield named 2020 Brett Sports Defensive Player of the Year

Adelaide’s Aaron Whitefield has become the first outfielder to claim the Australian Baseball League’s Brett Sports Defensive Player of the Year award.

The Giants’ centrefielder was voted as the 2020 winner after a poll of the league’s eight managers at the completion of the season.
