Cronulla, Eastern Phantoms, Hills Red and Ryde Red remain in contention for gold at the 2019 Australian Little League Championship in Lismore.
Cronulla will square off with Hills Red at 10.15am tomorrow and Ryde Red face Eastern Phantoms at 1pm for a spot in Monday’s gold medal game.

Cronulla, Northern Metros and Ryde Red collected two wins each on day one of the 2019 Australian Little League Championship in Lismore on Thursday.
The duo swept their first day doubleheaders while Hills Red, Eastern Phantoms, Far North Coast, Adelaide Marlins, Manly and Brisbane North also collected wins.

Ulrich Bojarski will feature in the 2019 Midwest League All-Star Game after being selected as a starter for the Eastern Division.
The West Michigan Whitecaps outfielder was selected for the June 18 contest at Indiana’s Four Winds Field after a vote of the league’s managers.
Bojarski, 20, ranks in the Midwest League’s top-10 in a number of key offensive categories after a bright start to the season for the Whitecaps.
He ranks seventh in the league in batting average (.309), tied for fifth in home runs (eight) and is equal-seventh with 36 RBIs.
“It’s a really good feeling,” Bojarski told whitecapsbaseball.com.
“It’s something I’ve always dreamed of making an All-Star Team, and it’s finally happened.”
Bojarski has made 83 ABL regular-season appearances with the Perth Heat in the past three seasons, hitting .274 with 10 homers.
Last October he was picked for the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup’s All-World Team after averaging .379 with four home runs in Colombia.
Bojarski had a World Cup-leading 11 runs batted in and recorded five multi-hit games.

The 2019 Australian Little League Championship gold and bronze medal games will be available to stream only on Kayo, Australia’s new multi-sport streaming service.
Kayo, which is available on iOS and Android devices, laptop, PC and on TV with Telstra TV, compatible Android TV devices, Apple TV and Chromecast Ultra, will show both medal games LIVE from Lismore, New South Wales, on June 10.

Perth Metro North (Northern Metros) completed a perfect week in Adelaide to punch their ticket to August’s Junior League Baseball World Series in Taylor, Michigan.
The Metros toppled Southern Mariners 8-7 in extra innings in Friday night’s gold medal game to finish the 2019 Australian Junior League Championship with a 6-0 record.
