The defending champions collected 12 hits and Gabby Bevan and Jamie Bastian combined to allow just one in a 16-0 win on diamond one at West Beach.

Monday’s Australian Women’s Baseball Championship action will get underway at 1pm – rather than 4pm – with wet weather forecast across Adelaide.
Tournament organisers made the decision to make an earlier start to allow all games to be on the main diamond and provide the best chance of completing the three scheduled games.
