The Athletics rode two big innings at the plate and impressive pitching from Matthew Johnston and Jack Ratcliffe to a semi-final win.

The Tigers used a five-run sixth inning to rally past Manly but it was not enough to advance to a semi-final as they missed out following a three-way tie in Pool B.

The Armada trailed 11-1 but scored eight runs in the sixth, and three in the seventh to claim a walk-off 12-11 victory on James McFarlane’s RBI-single on diamond two.
