ABL Community Women's Baseball
Seven international stars will join Australia’s top talent at the 2022 Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase in Geelong next month.
Three players from Canada and Japan along with one from the US will be drafted onto the three Showcase rosters under an initiative supported by the World Baseball Softball Confederation and Baseball Canada, Baseball Federation of Japan and USA Baseball.

Joel Hogan and Maddux Stivey combined to shut out New Zealand as Team Australia wrapped up a three-game sweep of the 2022 WBSC Oceania U-23 World Cup Qualifier on Sunday.
Hogan tossed three scoreless innings and Stivey two and Australia’s offence provided more than enough run support in a 12-0 win at Canberra’s MIT Ballpark.

Team Australia holds a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three 2022 WBSC Oceania U-23 World Cup Qualifier after taking down New Zealand in Canberra on Friday night.
Australia jumped to an early 9-0 lead and withstood a fifth-inning rally from New Zealand to record a 13-3 win at Narrabundah.

A 22-player roster has been named for a three-game series at MIT Ballpark starting on Friday at 6pm.

Victorian infielder Bronwyn Gell has been named the most valuable player of the 2022 Australian Women’s Baseball Championship in Adelaide.
Gell went 11-for-18 (.611) with 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored in six opening round games for the runner-up.
