It was an exciting and impressive first day of the U16 #AYC2022 tournament in Redcliffe on Monday, with dominant performances from New South Wales and Western Australia.

Day 2 of the U16 #AYC2022 tournament will not go ahead as planned. All scheduled games on Tuesday the 5th of July have been cancelled due to bad weather.

Trailing 3-2 heading to its last at bat, Canberra rallied for three runs in the sixth to go past Newcastle and claim their first win in Macarthur.

A sixth-run fifth inning has lifted Southern Mariners to a fifth place finish at the 2022 Australian Little League Championship, defeating Adelaide Marlins 7-3.
Trailing 3-1, the Mariners scored six times in the fifth inning to rally past Adelaide for a victory on diamond four in Macarthur.

Style Trousselot went the distance for the Sharks as they picked up their fourth victory of the tournament.
