Jethawks will face minor premiers Taipans in the Baseball Association Townsville grand final on Sunday after overcoming Mustangs over the weekend.
An early offensive blitz put Jethawks up 10-1 at Jabiru Park on Sunday before prevailing 12-10 in the preliminary final to advance to another decider.

Jethawks scored late to overcome Pirates 5-4 in Baseball Association Townsville action on Sunday, setting up a massive clash against Mustangs this weekend.
Sean Breitkreutz’s late RBI-single broke the deadlock at Jabiru Park and lifted the Jethawks level with Mustangs, who lost to the unbeaten Taipans, on three wins entering round eight.

Jethawks rode a complete game and two RBIs from Tom Wall to victory in the Baseball Association Townsville grand final at Jabiru Park on Sunday.
The Jethawks overturned a qualifying final loss to the Avengers a fortnight ago to prevail 5-3 against the reigning premiers in Townsville’s top-tier decider.
