South Australian Curtis Mead’s first Triple-A homer sparked Durham Bulls to a comeback win – and league title – in Friday morning’s Minor League Baseball action.
Mead’s solo shot to left field in the fifth got the Bulls going down 6-0 and they went on to win 8-6 over Charlotte Knights at Truist Field.

South Australian Curtis Mead recorded the first three hits of his Triple-A career as Durham Bulls walked off Norfolk Tides in extra innings on Monday morning.
Mead went 3-for-4 with two doubles in just his second appearance at the level after being called up as the Bulls’ magic number to clinch the Southeast Division crown was lowered to one.
