2025 National Championships - Australian Baseball

Baseball Australia organises seven major national championships per year.

Six of them fall under the Little League Baseball structure, with four tournaments featuring trips to World Series events in the USA on the line.

Two national championships (Women’s / Youth) are state representative national championships in the Performance Pathways arm of Baseball Australia.

Learn about each of the events below for the 2025 season.

LITTLE LEAGUE NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS

Australian junior baseball teams of four different ‘Little League’ age groups compete in a series of tournaments with a pathway to America. Little League is the world’s largest international youth sports program.

Each team is made up of players from a given region in a state.

Teams start locally, then advance to state championships, and – if they keep advancing – move on to a national championship.

If you win the national championship? You go to a sanctioned Little League World Series event in the United States.

There are four different Little League International tournaments.

Here is information on each age group tournament in Australia, the team’s qualified, the schedules and the pathway.

Make sure you tune into the coverage on social media (@baseball.com.au) and watch on Baseball+. For charter tournament scores in state-based competitions, visit www.baseball.com.au/scores/
